My favorite incense scent
I’m admittedly picky about incense scents-they can feel really smoky and thick to me. But East by Akro is easily my favorite and is wearable by my standards. You can smell the leather in the opening but it isn’t too strong; the incense is softened by something that almost feels like vanilla—not sure where that’s coming from. It reminds me of my vintage copy of The Arabian Nights or The Alchemist—as a bookworm it’s delightful that it’s evocative of literary loves.
