Weird blood splatter pattern

Rug is functional. Doesn't slide around too much, but if our 80 pound dog runs across it, it does still shift a little. Soft and very low profile. But the "splatter paint" effect looks like blood. Very weird choice on the design. The b&w flower design is nice! Why add the splatter over it?

We had been looking for a rug for the front door of our MCM home for 4 yrs! however the home’s original door, after we updated our floors, prevented us from putting anything there or if we did, we would have to move it every time we opened the front door / there was no clearance. We couldn’t shave the door down or it would cause drafts etc. Anyways, I came across this company and how low profile the rug is and it worked! Obsessed! Will def be buying from them again! Also - The quality is unmatched and the customer service is even more impressive. The rubber backing had a flaw and I emailed the customer service team. They responded in a very timely manner and sent out a replacement the next day!
