Good Quality Feeder
The feeder itself seems to be solidly built, and holds a good quantity of chicken feed. It's not as waste-free as I hoped, as the chickens still scoop out the feed with their beaks and get a bit of it on the ground (although not nearly as much as my previous feeder). The port covers I purchased don't fit snugly into the ports, but enough to keep insects out. I've only had the feeder for about a week, so time will tell if it holds up to the elements. So far, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Mad we did not purchase sooner
For years we have wasted bags upon bags of feed that my girls throw out of their tube. I thought this was just life with chickens. This led to extra work cleaning coop/run and lots of flies.
Remarkably it seems a 40lb of food will last 2-3 weeks now and I was going through one bag per week! Little to no flies and no food on the floor! I was worried about the high cost but you will make it up in feed savings so quickly!

Best Purchase!
Absolutely LOVE this feeder. I’m so glad I found it—there’s almost zero waste, and the feed stays clean, dry, and protected. Plus, it holds a ton!
If you’re on the fence, just do it—you won’t be disappointed. I have a flock of 16 and was going through feed like crazy, with so much of it being wasted.
My girls were born on 3/5 and went through two full 40 lb bags of feed in no time. I filled this feeder with a 40 lb bag of crumble on April 13th, and 10 days later it still looks full. That alone says everything.
Thank you CoopWorx—this thing actually works!
