Small (24") Reversible Roll-out Nest Box (Up to 20 Hens)

Too many holes for exterior mount that I need to figure out how to plug to prevent draft in the winter. Should sell a bottom kit with exterior mount kit. For sure going to get mice and weasels in if I don't make mods.

Still training the girls to use it. The box tilt is still a little to keep the eggs in the laying area. I put a 2x2 under the mat on the front edge to help keep things in the middle of the box. Some of the assembly instructions could use a little clarification. I found that I had to read each step completely to understand what part goes where. So far I'm enjoying the clean eggs that I am getting. (I'm even trying to convince my daughter to get one to consolidate her laying hens into one area.

Rollout nest box is good quality with very good directions to put it together. Our flock adapted to it well in just a few days. Works very well. We set it up with the rear access and without the front perch as it seemed to be in the way in our setup.
