From the moment I received the pacakage and opened it to find the box, I felt like I was unwrapping a gift from Japan’s springtime. The Suzu and Awayuki strawberries from Ikigai Fruits are unlike any others—they’re delicately blushed, almost pearl-like, and impossibly fragrant. Both taste delicious. Now, I’ll be honest—my first order had some berries that didn’t survive the journey. Some had damage and others with a bit of mold, which was very disappointing at first. But their customer service was so kind and responsive, it really turned things around.
