Short Throw Shifter / Porsche 718, 981, 991, 992

Replaced it in my 2025 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and the shifts feel so solid and the Reverse gear is distinct from the first. This replacement is really worthwhile and the shifts are just to my liking than the OEM. Must upgrade for Porsche cars.

Great shifter; however note that certain modifications are needed when installing to 718 Cayman. I had to put a couple of spacers on the back of shifter, modify the cable seating a bit so I can shift to reverse and cut the one of the clips of the shift boot since it would not go in otherwise. I am happy with the final result but just be aware of these gotchas.

Installed in under 2 hrs. Great improvement over the OEM shifter. Very precise and very solid shifting experience.
