Beautiful crockery. I wish I had bought it sooner.

I first saw this crockery while on holiday in the USA. I made a note of the company and then forgot about it. Luckily I found the note again and ordered . It is beautiful and arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition.

Having to pay hidden shipping costs left a bad taste.

There is nothing obvious when ordering to let the customer know that this product is coming from Portugal and the custom taxes are charged to the customer. We ended up paying an additional £59 and when we contacted the company they were more than happy to point out the (hidden) small print covering them. If we refused the order, we would have been liable for shipping plus the taxes. If we’d have had this clearly stated before confirming the order, like when shipping is calculated, then we wouldn’t have ordered. I guess this is why it’s hidden.
