KD-7 for double bass on Roland kit

The Roland TD17KVX2 is my go to kit and it has been expanded beyond all its available inputs with splitters, etc. I had an extra Iron Cobra bass drum pedal so rather than buying a new double pedal, I bought the KD-7 which comes with a built-in splitter that I ran to my existing KD-10 and now I have a functional double bass with separate pedals. Works very well for that application. Only adjustment I had to make was to swap the silent beater on my KD-10 to one that matched the force/impact of the beater on the KD-7 as the sensitivity settings are tied and can’t be adjusted to each KD input and that was affecting the volume output. Very happy with the setup!
