They seemed to be slow at setting fruit early but later got loaded with nice sauce tomatoes. They keep good on the vine until you are ready to pick them and make a big batch of sauce.

My favorite paste tomato

After trying San Marzano and Amish Paste in the past with moderate yields, I decided to try granadero. I'm glad I did. Better propagation from seed and delicious tomatoes that continue to produce well into October in my Northern California garden. Good flavor and good yields.
