I have been planting pumpkins as a hobby to do with my young kids for 6 years. Every year the pumpkins would die too early to harvest or what was left were too small to carve or decorate. I was recommended the gladiators originally then added captain Jack to the mix. Both varieties came up with a high success rate and majority of the pumpkins will be used for carving this year. I bought decorative types off Amazon and 100% of those pumpkin plants died before producing any fruit. Next year all pumpkin seeds will come from Harris
