Hart Steel 6/8 Satin Finish Square Point Straight Razor

Great straight razor and a perfect honed edge right out of the box. Hart Steel razors are definitely one of the best out there.

The razor from Hart Steel I give a four-star review. The razor is well built, and they did a really good job at sharpening it, the overall grit that they stopped with when sanding it is a bit rough. It's like they stopped somewhere between 120 to 220 Grit, I'm not the type that likes mirror polishes but close to a 120 grit finishes is little too rough for a straight razor, in my opinion. It is still a pretty decent razor and someone may like that rough of a finish. The only reason I gave this overall performance a two-star review instead of the three or four is the company classic shaving. It took them 3 weeks to get this straight razor to me and I only live a 30-minute drive from them. If they said when that they make each individual razor upon ordering then I would completely understand and 3 weeks would have been just fine, but the website led to that they already had them in stock so I was anticipating it to arrive within a couple of days, that wasn't the case.
