Transfer Lite Pack

This pack is fantastic. I cannot wait for the season to begin. Just large enough to carry my necessities but light and compact and built perfectly to easily access it all while in my saddle. Love it.

I wish I had seen this pack before buying it because I'm not sure I would have chosen it. The way it opens is a little awkward, and after transferring everything from my previous backpack, this pack looks larger but actually holds less. The pocket layout and buckle placement just doesn't seem very intuitive. My biggest complaint is the chest strap. It sits so high that it's more like a choker than a chest strap. Even adjusted, it rides up under my chin and is basically unusable. I'm going to use it through this hunting season and reassess afterward. The rear strap system is what sold me since it looks like it will carry a bow, spotting scope, and tripod well. In hindsight, I may have been better off with the Transfer Pack. That said, the build quality is excellent, and the Specter camo pattern looks phenomenal. If they improved the pocket layout and redesigned the chest strap, I think this would be a much better pack.

I wanted to like it, put my saddle and gear I’d be bringing into the field and it just wasn’t what I expected. The chest strap is hands down the worst part, I thought other reviews were bologna and it would be fine, turns out they were right.
