Good adventure, confusing start

The overall adventure ran well, and I enjoyed the fantasy blend of golems and tech. My players enjoyed the time-constraints, although at least once I had to wand-wave the usage of a specific toolkit as I had not realised they needed two different ones to repair two sections. The start required a bit of finesse on my part, where it was mentioned the golems would leave naturally after 10 minutes, my players of course tried to defend the village. But 10 rounds of combat when the players were virtually unable to do any damage didn't make sense to me so I had them leave at the very start. The description of the tunnel into the scarab was also hard to visualise so again I added my own descriptions to it rather than relying on the book.
