Exciting Departure from Run of the Mill Adventurers

I enjoyed the thoughtfulness that went into creating the background and lore behind these monstrous races. I really liked that the Swarmblood and Fusion species were included in this collection. The plethora of sidebars with further insight and ideas for the monsters as adventurers are fantastic. My one bit of feedback is that the writers don't need to be afraid of embracing the more extreme aspects of a monster, such as immunity to poison or fire for Devils or Huge size for Giants. That being said, I do think the writers have been more brave than a lot of other books I've acquire from other companies.

Love everything that was put into the book! Would have loved to see more heritages available for Giant though, as Pathfinder's roster of giants is far larger, leaving more unexplored options for us.
