Side-Slit Burnout Maxi Dress

This dress is gorgeous! I did take it to alterations for hemming… shortened it about 2. 5” as I prefer dresses to hit right at my ankle. For reference: I’m 5-4 to 5-5 and weigh 125 pounds. Ordered size small. I wear 34C bra. Wore this dress once, along with color matching belt. Loved it so much I contacted my sister in Florida and she ordered the exact same dress… it arrived, she took it in for hemming and also loves the dress! Colors are very rich… one of my favorite dresses. Great for daytime or evening date night.

This dress is lovely. At 73, my middle prevents wearing a dress with a waist. This falls smoothly on me. I love the mix of colors and fabric. I am 5'1", 129 lbs with a 34 or 36 DD bust. Obviously I need to have it shortened - so much that I will lose most of the split on the side, so that will have to be adjusted as well, but it is worth the cost of an alteration. It is a perfect dress for my son's wedding in Napa Valley, and should be easy to travel with, wrinkle wise. I normally wear a small, but I sized up to a medium so it would not be too tight through the bust area, and sizing up was the right call for that reason. I would have had to shorten a small anyway. Very comfortable and pretty dress.

Great product but super long, no petites so thought I would see but the alteration would be costly.
