too large for my Chihuahua

I give 1/2 of the "chewy" to my Chihuahua. I have to break it in half. Even then, it is too big. I have to smash it & mix it with his food. Also, he doesn't seem to like the taste. I'm not sure it is working. I am now making an appointment with his Vet.

my first jar of gland ease chews were indeed chewy. now they're hard and nearly brittle. the texture is challenging for my small dog to chew, and also difficult to break in half (necessary for the correct dosage).
