This part needs to be redesigned. Comparing to the original from Shimano... It does not have a face groove and will not accommodate the o-ring that goes under the head of this part. Go ahead and buy it if you just want a nice looking part. Not using the o-ring will allow dirt and other contaminants to enter the mount and pivot bearing. I will not be using this poorly designed item on my Shimano XTR RD-M9100 derailleur. So, I have to pay for return shipping and suffer a 7% fee.

Fits perfectly on my M8120 derailleur.
