Early Bird / Costa Rica

Interesting but wouldn’t purchase regularly.

Definitely not my favorite, decent crema

I don't think I've ever given Rosso a bad review - in fact I think they are the best Calgary has. But Early Bird, which I got for the dried fig with some curiosity about the almond butter flavour, had notes closer to 10% fig, <5% nut butter, and maybe 40+% slate & 40+% hay. I ultimately started pulling the shot short by ~5 g to cut the mineral vibes causing the slate and adding sugar to my cup to mitigate the hay vibes. It did have great crema. Not for me, and it might have been just my bag.

Excellent coffee not harsh and superflavoirful!
