The US Matrix water softener is THE ticket for removing hard water calcium as advertised. Totally satisfied with purchasing this unit. Bought some testing strips and tested the water and bingo, no more hard water. Highly recommended unit. One note for DIY installers. The bypass valves when closed allow water to BYPASS the tank and CONTINUE directional water flow in the plumbing . Don’t think like I did and assume the bypass valves restrict water flow when installing. I re-installed the plumbing twice thinking the water would stop at bypass valves due to 90 degree valve orientation. Anyway the unit is awesome.
