Let me start off with my canopy camper door has been changed to swing open to the driver side (opposite of normal). That makes fitting the mounting bracket a custom fit because the bottom and top spacing of the door supports different. Following the provided direction and a bit of attack with a drill, everything went together without issue. The lock system is TOP SHELF. Works like a champ. It simplifies my life not worrying about padlocking the door. I bought several other items from 813 and they were equally well thought out and well made. For me - It was money well spent!
