What a fantastic purchase, so pleased with the pack. It got used immediately for a two week trip to Borneo carrying out a recce for new trek routes to be used by an overseas exped company. It performed faultlessly. Lots of trips this year so it’s going to get plenty of use.

The MVP (most valuable pack) of my trip

Okay let me start by saying I had very high expectations with this pack. Was looking for a comprehensive yet lightweight borderline ultralight backpack. And really I'm very pleased with everything you get for the price and the attention to details. I completed a week of hiking across the island of Madeira, following the MIUT® race course. Was carrying tent, food and all, and the Notch just handled everything perfectly. No pressure points. This pack makes hiking more enjoyable because of the usability of many feature WHILE wearing the pack. Got snacks on the bottom stretch pocket, stashed trash on the small opening of said pocket, water bottles were really easy to get to even with my stiff shoulders, I had some extra water in a flask on the stretch shoulder pocket. The material is waterproof enough, and pretty tough. The hipbelt worked perfectly and was easily adjustable. And sizing as explained on the website was great. Things I would have liked different is maybe a buckle on the side compression straps, that's all. Overall, 98% satisfied, the colorway is sick, I'm so happy, thanks a lot. Cheers from Switzerland.

Atom packs The Notch

After 2 hip replacements anda couple of years, i finally felt energised enough and decided i needed a challenge. Ive set my goal as the south coast path. After a tonne of research all the stars pointed towards Atom packs. I decided that i needed a tailored pack to my size and followed the detailed instructions on the site....then came the "what size do i need" question. I settled on the Notch and then waited for the restock,.......WOW.....spot on! Love it!, it fitted like a glove and i couldn't believe after decades of hiking a pack could feel like this. Ive been training with it for just over a month and "Notched" up just over 80-90 miles and can honestly say i dont notice it on my back. Its so professionally made and you just know you are wearing quality. The Notch has plenty of room for what i need and the roomy side pockets are something else...this british company really are something to be proud of and i know that i am now a life supporter of everything they produce. I added the side pocket to my order and so glad i did....its so handy and yeah, a must. My next purchase will be The Roo zero waste as i just think it looks like my last missing link to make my kit bulletproof. Overall, fantastic pack, amazing quality, excellent customer service and i think great value for the professional pack you are purchasing. Thank you Tom and the team..for everything you produce.
