Each holder has dovetails on each side to lock into the outer case and the OEM vertical divider. They come in 1/2 size or 1/4 size so you can fit 2-4 in a case depending on which holders you use. The 1" Bit insert holds 1" standard hex bits that fit loose enough to be easy to remove, but will not fall out with the lid closed.
