The lock works like I'd hoped it would. I did have too make some modifications on the hasps of the trailer lock to get it to work. One improvement I would suggest would be to allow rotation of the bolt to get a better fit. Other than that, it will be my go to from now on.

Fantastic Locks
When I first purchased a pair of Model 400XL puck locks, they would not work for me; not because there was anything wrong with the locks, but that the manufacturer of my trailer installed hasps that were incompatible with the locks. I sent a message to Proven Industries about this issue and received exceptional guidance and support. By working together, we were able to find a solution to my issue and they fit perfectly. I love that the two ramp door locks, and my proven industries coupler lock are all keyed the same.

This one holds the key until relocked. Perfect
The one sent with latch kit was lost because it didn’t lock and fell off on the road. One week after I installed it. This one won’t let you take key out without it being locked. Perfect for a side door latch.
