Overall good quality product. The one down side is that all the holes are not big enough, I can’t imagine trying to fit a .45 round in this same insert. It also did not fit very well into the Packout the one corner was super tight and pushed up the top layer. I understand that there should be some snugness so the rounds don’t fall out. There are a few that will need pliers to remove them. I am not sure if returning it for another one would help or just drilling and filing the insert myself would be better.

I love the idea of this for storage of bulk ammo. I bought the case/insert for my loose .45 ACP rounds; however, the fit in many of the spaces is too tight (especially the ones around the edges) and makes it difficult to insert a round - not to mention trying to pry a round out once it’s inserted. Most of the rounds can be pulled out by hand, but too many of them required the use of a multitool to extract. I suppose I could run the insert across my drill press and bore them out somewhat, but that’s 300 monotonous turns on the press. Maybe if the insert was made from something other than hard plastic? I wanted to love this idea a lot, but I may look at other similar products.

Looks great fit is perfect just a couple of the holes were a bit shallow but I was able to fix it. Will be order another one soon and maybe one for my Springfield echelon
