Sandhills Sauntering

Our Day Trip

My daughter and I went on the Sandhills Sauntering day trip. The first destination happened to be on a street where there was a street fair so we got some additional fun there. Because of that we had to park a distance away. The next stop was a park but we didn't go into the park because there had already been too much walking. We enjoyed our lunch and found the destination for the third stop. However we didn't go on to the fourth stop because we were too tired at this point. All in all, it was a good day but too much walking for these old knees. It was very well put together tho and I would recommend trying this and the other offerings on the website.

So many hidden gems!

This trip was excellent! Cute small towns, outdoor adventures, and a historic site. Everything was so close to Raleigh but we never would have found these hidden gems on our own. Highly recommend taking the tour at stop #3!

A quietly interesting day.

Our favorite place was where we had lunch, but the whole day we saw neat features that we had never seen in our over 20 years living in NC
