Two Thumbs Up

This was my second GWT and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It definitely lived up to its name. Without giving away details, this trip took us just west of Toronto and there were several cute places to see and shop. It was a great opportunity to support local businesses in smaller towns. We found a quiet and peaceful park near water to stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. Overall we had a great time!

Mother and daughter adventure

I took my mom on this adventure. She is in her 70s so we did need something that was accessible. We found certain areas to be inaccessible such as a stairways, but we found other entertainment along the way I wish we had been told that the Victoria Park required admission. It was raining so we chose not to go to the park but we did wander around the city and it was lovely. It was kind of funny to meet a few other people doing the same GWT. The one disappointment we had was that the covered bridge that we wanted to visit had been closed for over a year and it was not listed in the update as being closed so a lot of us made the trip out there and were disappointed. However, the rest of the trip was a great time and we would definitely do it again.
