Static on the Cord

Unfortunately, the particular pickup I received had a lot of noise from the cord. Every time I would just brush it a little or reposition it, there was noise through the amp. Shar was very helpful and assured me this was not normal. I'm sure if I had reordered another would have been fine, but meanwhile I found something else that works for me. Too bad, it otherwise worked fine.

Perfect solution

Can't believe how great these are.. bought for string players in our church to eliminate mics that pick up room noise and muddy the mix.. easy on and off, doesn't dampen the instrument at the player's ear (maybe very slightly, but nothing like bridge pickups.. no one would want to attach and remove those anyway).. Sound quality is really good, I wouldn't record a classical solo with one but they are perfect for getting an excellent mix with plenty of control over signal processing.
