So the current reviews on the Kala Namak seem to be for the wrong product, so I just wanted to weigh in on this one. I just eliminated all seasonings except salt from my diet, so to keep from going completely nuts I just ordered about the entire Steel City Salt catalog. Everything is delicious but this one was the biggest surprise!! I honestly ordered it more out of curiosity, and frankly I did not expect it to taste good. Salt that "tastes like eggs" didn't seem that appetizing. Plus I eat eggs all the time. But this salt is super delicious! I'm not even sure what I'm going to put it on yet, I just keep sneaking pinches out of the jar. It sure does taste of sulphur, and thus kinda like eggs - but it is still super yummy. This one is a very fine powder which is neat and I think it would be interesting on popcorn. Anyway just had to share, give it a try!
