Replacement Lid - Cooper Version 2 Stainless Steel Water Bottle

Always good to have extra covers for my Ello water bottles.

Had to replace my first Ello water bottle cover because the plastic seal ring on it started to mold. Now that I have my replacement, I always take it off when I wash the cover and let it dry thoroughly.

Not the right size

It is my fault for accidentally ordering the wrong size but I am mostly angry that this Lid doesn’t exist in the size that I need for the older 20 (22?) ounce bottle. I’m also upset that there are no returns allowed for replacement lids so I am just out almost $15 with tax and shipping. In this current economy, nobody can afford to be wasting even $1. And what do I do with the lid now??

It was great at first. Excellent fit, color was solid. It’s a round black cylinder, so I am not sure what to say about style. Style is fine to me. BUT, the lid keeps popping open. The lid does not click closed completely—no water leaks, so the seal is perfect. If the lid is closed and I pick it up by the handle, the lid pops open. With any little movement, the lid opens. I was going to ask for a refund or replacement when I saw the paperwork you and I had to fill out. I just ordered a second lid. The lid is something like $6. 99. Too much effort for both of us to order a second. Granted, if this were a big-ticket item, I would have proceeded with a request. It is my favorite mug. It is my go-to mug for travel and home.
