After one week, I am pretty happy with this Weather Station, not least because I am back on Weathercloud, so can easily see my own info on any web connected device as well as even more info on the console. Set up using the very comprehensive manual was not very easy, but was somehow successful. Really a native English speaking expert needs to write 'setup notes' related to users operating software (in my case Win 11), which did not seem to have the same responses as shown in the manual, whose B&W printing was rather indistinct; but I hacked my way through the manual to get going. Though it appears to me the console allows many more presettings than I have already found! Amusingly, I immediately missed a physical wind speed and direction indication that I can see on the pole, so have installed an old pair not connected but just to look at...

A great little device!

This unit is great for a small footprint, and very accurate. It comes well packaged and paired with the screen with ease, the only thing you need to supply is two AA batteries and the one inch pole (standard TV aerial one) the wind direction monitor is surprisingly good compared to the traditional type which tend to fail over time. Just download the Ecowitt app and follow the printed manual in the box (FULL SIZE MANUAL) and your up and ready to setup to use!. On a side note the customer service here is outstanding and replied to my questions within the hour.
