Fostex TH-616 Premium Limited Edition Open-Back Headphones

Beauty, Comfort and Sound!

I don't know how many hours I've used these (not as many as I'd like), but these cans are awesome! They sound fantastic with everything I've listened to (metal and classical, but I'm sure they'd sound great with all genres). To me the sound signature is well balanced. I've watched TV and played video games, too (using an optical cable going from my TV to the DAC). They are very comfortable. I've fallen asleep with them on several times. I usually wake up with my head a little sweaty, but not hurting like some headphones will do after wearing them for more than an hour or two. I'm using these with an iFi Zen One Signature DAC and a Bottlehead Single Ended Experimenter's Kit 3.0 (with upgraded power cable and C4S upgrade). I have a pair of Meze 109 Pro Primal and ZMF VC, and the Fostex TH-616 are just as good (and they're the cheapest of the three).
