Jesse in Taiwan Oolong Sampler Box

The box offered a good variety of teas, all of a good quality. The 5-time roasted was my personal favourite, and I could tell how much effort was put into it.

A truly fantastic eye opener into the diversity of Taiwanese oolong. I love the story behind these teas, the design of the packaging and the included leaflet. The teas are of such high quality I almost feel spoilt. There are inconsistencies in the instructions regarding temperature, but I think with some intuition it's clear enough how to get the most out of these teas. I was so impressed by the Luye red and the 5x charcoal roasted. There's only about 3 sessions of the latter (and the full bag is understandably quite expensive!). It maybe misses a more "standard"/green oolong, which would be nice to have as someone new to oolong. Overall, it's not cheap but it's top quality, well curated and you'll be able to get a lot of sessions out of it.
