Reblooming Bernice's Legacy Iris

I received my Bernice's Legacy rhizomes in January. They showed up looking very dried out. I live in zone 6a and since winter had arrived here I potted them indoors, to plant outside this April. After soaking them overnight and trimming away some of the dried parts I put them in the soil and within the week every one had double shoots! I think we have a winner here, these fellas WANT to grow!

fall blooms!

I planted these really late last year due to general disorganization. They put on some leaves but did not bloom this spring, and I thought I might have buried them too deep or they didn't get enough sun. Then, this week, they surprised me with fall blooms on really short (6") stems! I tried to upload a pic but the files were all too large.
