Healthy Peony Tubers

I ordered 2 sorbet tubers. After planting, one came up with 5 sprouts and the other came up with 3. Both plants look healthy. Here’s hoping that one of them will bloom next year! I had a wonderful shopping experience with Blooming Bulb and highly recommend the company. This year, I decided to expand my peony garden. I ordered tubers from two different online sellers; Blooming Bulb was, by far, the best! Between the two vendors, I purchased a total of 35 peony tubers; 24 from Blooming Bulb and 11 from the other vendor. 22 of the 24 tubers from (BB) came up; after reaching out to BB’s customer service, 2 replacement tubers were PROMPTLY shipped. The quality of BB’s tubers is exponentially higher than the other online vendor. BB’s peony tubers produced healthy peony plants. After placing an order, BB packaged the tubers carefully and shipped within 3 business days. For reference, my experience with the OTHER online vendor was quite disappointing; only 4 of the 11 tubers came up. While 7 were replaced, it took 3-4 weeks before the replacements were shipped. The tubers from the other online vendor were small/puny and the sprouts that did come up were fragile and some appear to be dying even on the replacement tubers. All of the tubers from both online vendors were planted in the same area, using the same approach and by the same person. BB’s sold tubers that were healthy. I would highly recommend BB if you are looking for peonies.

The roots were small for the price . I really want then to grow. I put in pots until the Utah freezing weather in April stops . They are potted in my garage protected from the unusual cold . Time will tell. I wish the roots were bigger Very small looked like the bottom of the pile . They should be replaced to a teaa as l start
