Great Penlight for Eye Doctors!

I give these penlights to my optometry students. It is great for pupil examination and the UV light is a true bonus. I use the UV light to show my students the autofluorescence of the human lens. In addition, I demonstrate to them how the UV light will indicate if their patient has transitions lenses. Transitions lenses will turn dark under UV light. I can also demonstrate to them how they can differentiate between UV absorbing lenses and non-UV absorbing lenses. It is a great teaching tool and the different illumination intensities make it easier on the patients eyes. This is a great tool for all my optometry students.

Output, although technically as described, leaves much to be desired. Need dark room for ultraviolet. Half click to change functions at time not consistent.
