A Nice Overview for Beginning Homesteaders

This is an enjoyable read with beautiful photography and a personable author. Her honesty as to their successes and foibles makes for a conversational read. It’s nice to read, “Here is how we did this the first time; this is what we should have done.” Even if you have some experience, you may find some great nuggets. The dairying section addressed my husband's and my questions and I like that she details her family’s experiences and advice with both goats and cows. Overall, we are enjoying this purchase!
