Peach Flavored Syrup

I bought this product because I had previously received a variety box of 3 syrups a couple of months ago as a free gift for a large order. It contained peach, strawberry and coconut flavored clear syrups. The peach and strawberry were exceptional; I have not tried the coconut yet. Anyway, I love peach flavored tea, iced or hot, and decided to order the single larger bottle. My first impression was surprise that the syrup was mildly colored. I was not expecting that. An incredible consideration over artificial dyes, Choc Zero used pigments derived from beets and radishes to give this particular peach syrup its coloration. I will however, always reach for clear or non colored food products when available. Where the product failed me was the taste. It did not seem as rich or sweet as the product I received as a gift and that disappointed me. This syrup was good but it did not taste like a jar of peaches canned in heavy syrup, which evoked a feeling of nostalgia of drinking my grandmother’s peaches flavored iced tea. That might be an unfair comparison; competing with memories of a grandma’s kitchen is a hard act to follow. All things considered, I will still buy this product due to its combined qualities. It does taste like peaches, it is sweet, and it is basically non glycemic. But I will always miss that feeling of nostalgia I had with the peach syrup in the variety pack that I received as a purchasing gift.

Great product. No artificial taste like some sweeteners. Love the peach flavor in iced tea or lemon water and it has zero sugar!

Excellent in electrolyte drinks

One of my favorite syrups to sweeten beverages to which I add lemon or lime juice. I've tried coconut, strawberry, lavender, and irish cream. This is second to the vanilla in versatility and fresh taste.
