Overall is a nice sled
Setup was straight forward, the sled is sturdy. Performance is very good. I can produce a smooth flat surface using 3" carbide spoilboard bit with DeWalt DW618 router, and 20MM rails from Vevor. However, there are 3 flaws that are well known with this sled, 2 are easily remedied. First is that the plate itself sits loosely in the sled. I used a super thin piece of wood from a table saw thin rip to pack it in tightly on both sides (others have used tape). The second is the brushes that have nothing to secure them in their track, they fall out during use. I used pliers to pinch the track on the ends, which was annoying but it worked. The 3rd is the dust collection port - it cracked as soon as i tightened the screws holding it in. I did not tighten hard. Others on amazon have had similar issue with it cracking or breaking altogether. My crack was fairly minor (for now) so i can still use it. But if it breaks I may need to replace it with home made part. So these 3 QC issues aside, it's a good product that I do recommend at this price point.

Router sled base
Purchased this base to make a router sled. It was made of thick aluminum supports with a good design. Was impressed how it turned out and have used in for various flatting projects. Great purchase.
