The subject material is great, with an interesting story line. However the use of AI only detracts from what's, otherwise, a great read. In Book 1 I came across 4 places where an individual sentence that made no sense was inserted into a paragraph. In one instance, the gender of the character changed mid-paragraph & then back again in the next sentence. A human proof reader would have picked up any / all of these glaring mistakes. I came away disappointed that someone of the author's qualifications wasn't able to simply rely on his God-given abilities to craft a great story without resorting to AI.

I normally am more into non-fiction than fiction. But this first novel is captivating and has Gods word touches all over it! I bought the bundle of 3 and sm almost done w Slingshot! Perfect title when u think of David and Goliath! Happy to find a great summer read!
