The kit is very is to assemble and the manufacturer provides all necessary accessories that adapts the new length of the machine

I’m absolutely thrilled with the Acmer P2 laser engraver!

Thanks to the extension kit, I can now engrave and cut large-scale designs and models.

BIG Improvement

Got this assembled and working. Makes the P2 a very large machine. Parts were well packaged and in perfect order. All cables, belts and extra hardware were included. Cable management takes some thought and I burned through a lot of zip ties to get this where I wanted it, but it all worked out. Instructions are sketchy, but you'll get the gist of it and setting it up in Lightburn worked great. A few notes: 1. The Y axis shares a stepper, so you have to make sure the left and right mounting plates for the X gantry are aligned prior to belt tensioning. Otherwise, things don't fit and you'll be out of square. 2. The X axis cable provided requires the removal of the extension cable fastened to the X gantry. The cable ends are different and that set me back a second until I realized how to get it done. Very pleased with this and my P2 33w. Just a great machine.
