The perfect sheepshead rod!

I have finally, after an extensive search, found the perfect rod for sheepshead on pilings from the boat. This rod has the sensitivity to detect the lightest bite AND the backbone to pull larger fishing away from structure. Also a fantastic option for fishing docks from a boat for reds and other species. I own five, three spinning rods paired with Florida Fishing Products Osprey 3000 size reel and two with Shimano Calcutta 200 size reels.

Love this rod when fishing tight to structure like rigs, reefs, docks and the like. It has great power to get the fish out of the structure as well.

Reverant 663 was really made for sheepshead fishing

The reverant 663 was really made for catching sheepshead. I used this rod on my kayak and fished bridge pilings. The length is perfect and can move it with ease. But the feature that I like the most is the sensitivity of the rod. Sheepshead are notorious for stealing baits and often times when using regular fishing rods, you will not feel the bite, but not with this rod. It also has a strong backbone to fight big size sheeps. Used it multiple times and it did not disappoint. This will the rod that I will be using for the upcoming sheepshead tournament this season for sure. Highly recommended.
