This is a small farmer production, that doesn't involve wet piling. It was grown in a small Hei Shan area garden (Wuzhou, Guangxi) at an altitude of 600 meter, and then plucked, withered, and cured using a smoky fire!

amazing potential
The aftertaste and the front mouth feel tell me this is a really good tea, however it is too smokey for my taste, specially compared to other liu bao offerings from this site. Maybe (just maybe) further aging could turn it into a much more balanced tea. I really wish to give this a higher score but no matter how many brewing parameters i try, the smoke taste is too strong.
