Hook too small

I was attracted to a large (6/0) hook on a light jig head. The Headlockz design is fine, but the hooks are 4/0. Not even close to 6/0. The 6” SwimmerZ is also not as advertised - more like 5”. Another manufacturer’s 6” grub dwarfs them.

HeadlockZ for bass fishing

With the new minnow fishing craze, I ran into a problem. I started bending hooks out when fishing big minnows in timber when I had to horse them out of the trees. I have since swiched to the Headlockz and started throwing my big minnows on a baitcaster on 15-20 pound line. I can hit the fish as hard as I want and have no fear of these hooks bending out. There are other jigheads that have strong hooks, but they do not give the bait the action you need. This jighead has both.

The HeadlockZ jigs are absolutely incredible
