I bought these for an upcoming trip to use for Alaskan halibut. I'll let you know how they performed. This past June I brought some 4" Scented PaddlerZ and 4"Scented Curly Tailz on a pike trip to Canada. I have been using Z-Man plastics for years on bluefish in New Jersey and was impressed that the toothy critters could not bite through the body, so I decided to see how they would hold up to pike. My first day out I caught 80+ pike, up to 43" on the same plastic. I thought the guide's head was going to explode; he could not believe it. I only had to change out the 1/4 oz Trout Eye jig head because the barbs that hold the body on kept getting mashed down by the guide. After that day my partner and I both fished the Zs and averaged over 150 fish a day. These included big pike over 40", lake trout and walleye. I will be re-stocking for my next trip in June.

It works

Used this the other day with a light hook. Bass hammered it on surface. 19" was the best of the bunch.
