Great Upgrade!
I bought my 2017 Tacoma new and have always thought the original head unit was not that great. This Sony head unit is awesome! SO easy to install! This took me 20 minutes to install thanks to the videos and the instructions they sent via email. I’m still trying to figure out a few kinks I’ve run into with HDMI, but all else is great! I got the “factory mic” option and didn’t have to mess with a thing. It was all plug and play (plugged into the head unit ready to go). I wanted a stock look and I’m very happy.

Sony XAV-AX6000
Trail Grid Pro's plug & play kit and installation video made installation truly plug and play! Excellent customer service and the Sony 6000 is a great upgrade over the stock Tacoma head unit.

WOW. . . . Great!!!
I ordered the Sony XAV-AX6000 bundle. What a great package this is! The head unit works very well. I have a couple of Sony 3200's in other vehicles and the 6000 is a couple steps up. Sony makes a good product. Trail Grid Pro does a really great job wiring up the bundle. It was truly plug and play. Install in my Tacoma was simple and easy. Hats off to Trail Grid Pro! They are great to work with, ordering was simple, delivery quick, and everything explained through their videos. I ordered the MB Quart Speaker set at the same time. TGP videos made the difference and made me decide to go with both products. I am a big fan of Crutchfield and pretty much shop them exclusively. This Toyota package from Trail Grid Pros really can't be beat or improved on. . . They nailed it! *Note for all of us entry level Tacoma SR trim level owners. My truck did not come factory with GPS or the factory GPS antenna. It took me a while to figure this out. My Android Auto worked fine, but my son's Apple Car Play would not. The Apple phone requires the GPS antenna signal, Android does not. You will need to use the Sony supplied GPS antenna in the spare parts bag. I also installed a remote start that interfaces with the OBD2 port after the Sony install. When doing so the gauges on the Sony head unit no longer worked. The head unit needs to be reset by holding the home button for 10+ seconds. After that everything worked like clockwork. Hoping this info helps others out. Great job Trail Grid Pro! Thanks!!!
