Kicker Plug & Play 8 Speaker Bundle (6.75" Rear Door Speakers) | '10 - '24 4Runner

I like the clarity! The install video helped, very easy for the DIY peeps! What can I do to get these speakers louder? Amp? Subwoofer? Please suggest a sub or amp plug n play on this website. Someone told me to unplug the JBL Premium Sub, that way the new Kickers will get more power, is that true? I'm yet to try that.. Do I upgrade the sub too, I feel the package should of came with one, however what's compatible? Canadians, watch out for the $220.00 tariff on this package at delivery by UPS... Ughhhh feel like I paid way to much for this setup... Shop around locally, I wish I did to save hundreds of dollars.

Good Kit But Beware!

Speakers and wiring fit perfectly and the kit is truly plug and play. Other than that, purchasing these speakers was a big mistake because now at any given volume setting the loudness of the system is greatly diminished. Have to crank it up a crazy amount to listen while driving with the windows open. There is obviously a mismatch with the factory head unit and no mention was made of this. If I would have known, I would NOT have purchased these speakers.

Easy upgrade for quality sound

Decided to do a swap of the stock speakers while keeping the stock head unit (2021 4Runner Non-JBL). This set of speakers was super easy to install with all the "homework" done in advance. Once taking each door card off, the rest was an easy swap. In comparison, I was able to notice more detail in the sound and it definitely made it more enjoyable. I added a Beat Sonic Amp to add volume and it enable the system to overcome road noise and sound good!
