we wear them because we have a skin grafted scar and need the pressure. The socks seem good and we like that you have one for bigger calves. We have not been thrilled with the company. . . for a number of reasons including that after you made a big deal about giving me a new customer discount. . . RIGHT after i ordered. . . you had a sale that made the socks cheaper than what I paid and I felt ripped off. Also it took forever for them to arrive. And you send WAY too many emails etc so I am unsubscribing. And how can you ask me for a review when I just got them??? Lets see how they hold up compared to darn tough. . . even this review is lacking because you give a list without a none of the above option.

Perfect

I have venous insufficiency. I sit and stand still a lot at my job in ultrasound. My ankles and lower calves would be double the normal size without these socks. I wear them every work day or long car rides. I even wear them hiking. My legs would ache without these socks. I have tried other brands -prescription and non-prescription. These are the best for me.

Not Wide Calf

I purchased the wise calf socks for my Mother as a pastor I purchased at am airport that were NOT wise calf were just a wee bit tight. The wide calf socks came and all 4 pair are actually much tighter than the non wide calf pairs. Aside from that. . . that are nice compression socks.
