*I ordered a sample set. My process was not scientific, as I sprayed each scent on a separate blank index card. I did not look at the label before each test sniff, so as not to be influenced by the name of the scent. Then I wrote down descriptor words that came to mind. After this is when I allowed myself to see the name of the scent. All of the scents lasted less than two hours when tested on my skin.*
~a light amber whisky or bourbon that was in a wood barrel for a week or so; NOT syrupy sweet~
Don't get me wrong; I like a couple of fingers worth of a whisky that has a smooth mouth-feel, but gives that warm glow as it moves down to the belly. I enjoy whisky & bourbon scents. This just throws me because it is 'cedar'. I do get the nod to some sort of wood in this. However, I grew up playing in pastures dotted with cedar trees & this is not my recollection of cedar. It's not terrible; just pass this by, though, if you're looking for authentic cedar.
