Wish it was offered without the base

Actually purchased it for the disc truing component, would not use it for wheel building as I don't see it offering anything more than the ubiquitous Park stand which offers 2 sided wheel lateral runout measuring and this stand one would have to remove the wheel and flip it. For a quick wheel truing, it does work ok and doesn't take up permanent bench space. Funny the disc runout measures 2 sides which is very helpful. I actually would like to return the base and use the credit to purchase something else.

The Feedback trying stand is a great option for everyone that needs a truing stand that does the job to true and build wheels.

I purchased this to learn wheelbuilding and was delighted. The streamlined design helped take the fear out of what was feeling like an overwhelming project. In just a few days I was riding around on my own custom, hand built wheels. Setup is incredibly simple. Lateral and radial truing are intuitive. As a bonus: it’s very small, so as a hobbyist without a dedicated workspace, it easily tucks out of the way when it isn’t needed. A+ product
