This pattern was easy to follow. I am an experienced sewer but I think even a confidant beginner could handle it as written. It would also be easy to add extra length to make a full length dress, or shorten the sleeves for a short-sleeve version. I first made a muslin and I had to make a few adjustments to the pattern to tailor it to my body. I'm small chested and found the dress gaped open over the bust (This is a frequent problem I have with wrap dresses, and I expected it). Usually I would just put a pin in a dress like this to hold it closed, but I really wanted to tailor the pattern so I can use it repeatedly and have it fit me perfectly. I added darts to the bust to remove the excess fabric and added 1" to the back neck and V-part of the wrap. This made the neckline of the dress higher so it wraps with more coverage over my chest. You can find youtube videos to show you how to do these adjustments. I think it's perfect for my body now and I plan to use it to make many more versions of this dress.
